The project

At the entrance to the Mary Baker Eddy Library, a large touch table brings the archive out to meet visitors. Historic photographs and documents spread across the glass, and visitors browse and open them to discover the story behind each one before they step into the galleries.

In the library's marble atrium, beneath its glowing globe chandelier, two touch tables sit on the stone floor like exhibits of their own: one showing a luminous view of the Earth, the other a grid of stories to explore.

The table is part of How Do You See the World?, the visitor experience at Christian Science Plaza in Boston, which also includes the Mapparium, a three-story stained-glass globe, and exhibits sharing interactive stories from The Christian Science Monitor.
